New Browser Bonanza!
I am currently evaluating Opera 9.02 and have found it to be a totally viable alternative.
I have also updated my trusty Firefox to the version 2 and I am pretty impressed. Stability is improved and when the extentions and themes catch up I'll be in the butter zone.
Of course, we'll all be forced to upgrade our IE installs to version 7 which is a welcome improvement but still lack the customization features of the other two afore-mentioned browsers.

MS Update threw a fit for me to install their latest piece of steaming shitcrap turd of a browser. NEVER will I use IE as a first choice - and this is out of sheer spite for all the wasted hours, days, weeks debugging their god damned failure to meet a simple standard, or even document where they can't fucking cope.
They can reimburse me several thousands of dollars and I'll be more than happy to give their "product" a fair shake. Until then I just hafta laff at their desperation.

Finally upgraded to FF2. This is great. I love being able to control my own upgrades. I guess that's a privilege of secure software.
drd reported some fuckage with IE7. Why am I not surprised. Guess I should check into that soon.
No Safari cept on the Maxz. V3 is good. No problems so far. I was just reading where Opera 9.5 is out today and FFv3 is out next Tuesday. Plus... IE8 beta 2 in August. What a cluzterfux.
LOL ...reading these back comments, it appears that I was somewhat disgruntled in November of 2006. Judging ie7 before even installing it? The only excuse offerable is that ie5 and 6 were so bad, they poisoned my technical judgement faculties.
MS took major steps in the right direction with ie7. That should be encouraged. I hope ie8 is even better.
Dude... even a cheap mac is cool. I really like the ones I have messed with. The little Mac Mini is freakin cool and the cheepie I would recommend. A friend of mine bought one and I love it. Superfast and super small. Loverly.
I can get one of those for around 400 maybe 600 dollars!
And then I see that imac 24-inch shit. Where the whole machine IS the monitor. We wants it!
