Policy Change at CN
You guys, we are fucking up a basic principle of internet(s) discussion. I'm sure we all have the ability to create new articles here, so what say we exercise our rights and try to keep these threads somewhat on topic. For instance, we started a discussion of string theory, but we ended up in the same place we always do. Now, I love a good political tongue-lashing as much as the next dog ( read: lick my balls GWB!) but I equally enjoy good scientific discussion, or musical discussion, or hell, maybe even some non-political personal opine could be entertaining. I'm not proposing that we stop the political dialog, just that we try to keep discussion limited the headline of the article.
All this means is that if we want to discuss or proselytize something, and it doesn't relate to the topic (or article) then by all means, post a new article. Try to remember to back your post up with links and pertinent info and pictures are always good fun. (no pr0n and no sick shit, we all have familia and jobs we'd like to keep. (Well, most of us anyway)
So, what's the consensus, can we do this?
